Membership InformationWho are we?
Forever Friends is a resource center serving people with serious and persistent mental illness. Forever Friends is supported and funded by the South Central Community Based Initiative (SCCBI). Watonwan County is one of ten counties in the initiative. Other counties are: Freeborn, Blue Earth, Nicollet, Sibley, Brown, Martin, Faribault, Rice and LeSueur.
The mission of the SCCBI is to facilitate each person's recovery by improving the quality of life by assisting them to assume increasing responsibility over their lives and to function as actively as possible in the community.
Forever Friends offers many different educational, social, and recreational activities to members. Forever Friends participates in 10 County activities including; plays, sporting events, holiday parties, picnics, and museums.
We have monthly cooking classes, crafts, movies, mental health groups, educational opportunities, and many more activities.
We encourage our members to give back to the community. We have done numerous volunteer projects and continue to do so. We have open time to the public one time per month as scheduled on the monthly calendar. Call for more information.
